Swymetric has a few different account types (swimmer, club, learner, facilitator) — and picking the wrong one is an easy mistake to make. See our simple guide to picking the right one before you register.
Install the Web Version
Recommended. Works on iPhone, Android, and PC — no app store needed. Open the link below, then follow the steps for your device.
Open swymetric.co.za/appiPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open Safari (must be Safari, not Chrome) and go to swymetric.co.za/app
- Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up)
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
- Tap Add — Swymetric now appears as an app icon on your home screen
Android (Chrome)
- Open Chrome and go to swymetric.co.za/app
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner
- Tap "Install app" (may show as "Add to Home screen")
- Tap Install — Swymetric now appears as an app icon
PC / Mac (Chrome or Edge)
- Go to swymetric.co.za/app in Chrome or Edge
- Click the install icon at the right of the address bar
- Click Install — Swymetric opens in its own window and is added to your Start Menu / Applications
Android App (Google Play)
Available now on the Play Store. Log in with your own Swymetric account email and password — the same credentials you signed up with.

Welcome to Swymetric!
We've spent countless hours building, testing, breaking, fixing, and testing again to make sure everything works as smoothly as possible. The platform has been through thousands of tests before launch, but software is still created by humans, fuelled by coffee, late nights, early mornings, and the occasional "How on earth did that happen?" moment.
Behind the scenes, there are hundreds of thousands of moving parts working together every second. Most of the time they're perfectly in sync, but every now and then a tiny 🐛 code gremlin manages to slip through the cracks.
If you spot something that doesn't look quite right, whether it's a 🐞 bug, 🪲 glitch, or something that simply feels a bit odd, please don't suffer in silence. Let us know! Every report helps us make Swymetric even better for everyone.
